Juliens Auctions offer the Sean Connery used pistol from Dr. No (1962)

Juliens Auctions has announced a sale of the Walther PP handgun used by the late Sir Sean Connery as 007 in the very first Bond film, 1962's Dr. No. The auction will take place on December 3, 2020, with an estimated sale price of 150,000 - 200,000 USD. One of two employed on the film, this prop was identified by the original film armorer, BAPTY in the UK, which had it until the official BAPTY Archive auction in 2006. It has since been archived in the collection of that buyer for the last 14 years.

Official James Bond video game from IO Interactive announced

James Bond will once again be coming to a console and computer screen near you. IO Interactive - an independent videogame development and publishing studio with offices in Copenhagen, Denmark and Malmö, Sweden - in collaboration with MGM, EON Productions and Delphi announced today that they are developing the very first James Bond origin story with the working title Project 007. Project 007 will feature a wholly original Bond story exclusively as a video game.

Joanna Lumley guest on Fredrik Skavlan's talk show in Sweden

The absolutely fabulous Joanna Lumley made a wonderful appearance on Fredrik Skavlan's talk-show (the biggest in Scandinavia) last night. Questioned about kissing all the James Bond actors at various social events over the years she spoke fondly of each one of them. She also recalled the good memories of filming On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) opposite George Lazenby as Ian Fleming’s 007.
