Superstar DJ Dimitri Vegas joins the cast of upcoming video game 007 First Light (2026)

IO Interactive has announced that Dimitri 'Vegas' Thivaios will be joining the cast of 007 First Light. As part of this standalone, re-imagined origin story for James Bond in video games, players will be able to cross paths with Dimitri Vegas’ character during the game’s globe-spanning mission.

Dimitri Vegas’ presence in 007 First Light was announced by the DJ himself, during his set at Tomorrowland Winter, one of the largest and most popular electronic dance music festivals in the world.

Known for his high-energy performances and global fanbase, Vegas brings his larger-than-life presence to IO Interactive’s re-imagined Bond origin story, expanding the game’s cast with a standout appearance from one of electronic music’s most recognized names.

He commented the news in an official statement:

“I’ve been a fan of Bond for as long as I can remember, so stepping into the world of 007 First Light is a real honor. IO Interactive is creating something bold and cinematic, and I can’t wait for players to meet my character and experience the game for themselves.”
