From Sweden with Love reader James Roberts, the man behind James Bond Downunder, is hosting a special screening of From Russia with Love (1963) at Palace Central Cinemas in Sydney, Australia on 5th August 2026.

A "Retro" screening of the 1963 James Bond Classic From Russia with Love starring Sean Connery as Ian Fleming's James Bond 007.

Agent 007 is back in the second installment of the James Bond series, this time battling a secret crime organization known as SPECTRE. Russians Rosa Klebb (portrayed by Lotte Lenya) and Kronsteen (Vladek Sheybal) are out to snatch a decoding device known as the Lektor, using the ravishing Tatiana (Daniela Bianchi) to lure Bond into helping them. Bond willingly travels to meet Tatiana in Istanbul, where he must rely on his wits to escape with his life in a series of deadly encounters with the enemy.
