Internationally renowned stuntman Paul Weston gives a glimpse behind the scenes of film & television, sharing stories from his 50 years in the business, including work on James Bond films, Star Wars, Aliens and Superman.

To open the festival week, GATA (Guildford Amateur Theatre Association) is thrilled to welcome Paul Weston to The Electric Theatre.

A Life in Stunts gives a glimpse behind the scenes of television and film sets as Paul shares stories from his years in the business, including work on eleven James Bond films (Casino Royale, Live and Let Die, The Man with the Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, The Living Daylights, Licence to Kill, Skyfall and SPECTRE), the Star Wars franchise and Aliens ... to name only a few!

Paul has danced with Charlie Chaplin, sung with The Beatles and been hit over the head with a bottle by Prince Charles. He's been a stunt double for Superman (Christopher Reeve), raided a lost ark and even written a song for Jack Jones.

Stuntman, stunt co-ordinator and 2nd unit director, Paul will share both anecdotes and stunt secrets as he talks about his life and career.

Fresh from working with Tom Cruise on The Mummy (and currently working on Transformers 5), Paul will only be in Guildford for one evening, so make sure you book early for this fantastic event.
