INTERVIEW WITH OLA RAPACE ABOUT SKYFALL

After the release of Skyfall (2012), From Sweden with Love (Anders Frejdh) caught up with the Swedish actor Ola Rapace who played Patrice in the film. Ola was one of four Swedes that worked on Skyfall - Jens Hultén played one of Silva's men, Per Hallberg was the supervising sound editor (for which he received an Academy Award), and Love Larson was part of the make up team.

FSWL was the first in the world to officially reveal Ola's character in the film, the news was published on 29th February 2012.

About Ola Rapace:
Ola Rapace was born in 1971 in Tyresö. Besides Swedish, he is fluent in English and French.

The accomplished actor is best known in Sweden for roles in the popular TV series Tusenbröder (2002-2007) and the first season of the Swedish TV series Wallander (2005-2006) which is based on Henning Mankell’s Kurt Wallander books.

Outside Sweden, his most notable work is in the 2000 Lukas Moodysson film Together (2000) which won several awards at international film festivals. The international accolades came back in 2010 with Pernilla August's Beyond, which won the Audience Award at the Venice Film Festival 2010 and the Guldbagge Award.

Rapace is also known for his acting role as Daniel Nordström in the Danish police TV show Anna Pihl (2007-2008) and had a small role in the English language Rancid (2004).

His latest projects are Swedish period noire-crime set in the 1950's, based on the books by Maria Lang, six films total: Mördaren ljuger inte ensam (2013), Kung liljekonvalje av dungen, Inte flera mord, Rosor, kyssar och döden (2013), Farliga drömmar och Tragedi på en lantkyrkogård.

The next project for Ola is Tarek Saleh's movie Tommy (2014).
