Since 1848, OMEGA has built a loyal worldwide following as a maker of distinctive luxury timepieces. Since 1995, they’ve enjoyed a special relationship with the James Bond films that could serve as a textbook case of how-to tie-in to a global movie franchise. What people might not know is that Omega also publishes a magazine as luxurious as its watches - LIFETIME.
Filled with gorgeous photography and invitingly laid out, their November 2020 issue is devoted to
No Time To Die. Apparently, there was No Time To Stop its publication as the film’s Covid-delayed release moved (again) from 2020 to 2021. Still, we Bond fans are happy to catch ANY glimpse of the film and this issue does not disappoint with almost 140 pages of exclusive content and lush photography.
It should be no surprise that this issue of Lifetime includes an in-depth piece about the new
OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M 007 edition (
read more about it). The striking watch was created in a unique partnership between the Company and 007 himself, actor
Daniel Craig (a first for a Bond watch). There’s also a feature on the highly desirable and collectible
On Her Majesty’s Secret Service 50th Anniversary edition Seamaster (
read more about it) accompanied by text about how each design came into being.
The magazine also features profiles – including interviews - of the leading cast members, director
Cary Fukunaga, Bond’s wardrobe in the film, even a tour of his favorite cocktail spots in London. (A few of which this writer plans to try out!) There’s also a very illuminating spread on the tropical birthplace of Bond –
Ian Fleming’s storied Jamaica retreat,
Goldeneye. Each article boasts exclusive photos and behind-the-scenes images – which add up to multiple reasons to grab a copy.
Lifetime Magazine is available at local OMEGA Authorized Dealers for a limited time only.
