Our friends at MI6 Confidential remembers Sir Sean Connery (1930-2020) with a limited-run 140+ page perfect bound issue of the magazine curated by From Sweden with Love readers and Some Kind of Hero authors Matthew Field and Ajay Chowdhury. FSWL founder Anders Frejdh has also contributed to this issue by securing a couple of interviews for the authors.

Say authors Field and Chowdhury of their impressive tribute to Connery, "By reading and digesting hundreds of print and broadcast interviews, conducted with Connery over the past 60 years, we rediscovered the actor and his craft. We came to appreciate the man beneath the image as well as the treasure and the trials he endured. The self-taught actor paid great attention to the scripts, approached his portrayal with diligence and had valuable opinions on who James Bond is."


Over 20 of Connery's colleagues have written personal tributes to Sir Sean including Bond ladies Ursula Andress, Marguerite Le Wars, Yvonne Shima, Aliza Gur, Shirley Eaton, Luciana Paluzzi, Martine Beswicke, Jill St. John, Lana Wood, Trina Parks, Denise Perrier, Kim Basinger, Barbara Carrera and Valerie Leon - Bond villain Klaus Maria Brandauer. Other names include Bruce Glover, Putter Smith, Pamela Salem, Prunella Gee, Edward Fox, Gavin O'Herlihy and Wendy Leech.
