The Accidental Getaway Driver (2023) produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli

From the award-winning writer and director Sing J. Lee, inspired by true events, comes The Accidental Getaway Driver (2023) with Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli of EON Productions as executive producers. This marks the fourth film with Broccoli as executive producer since the release of No Time To Die in 2021 following Ear for Eye (2021), Till (2022) and Blue Road: The Edna O'Brien Story (2024).

The Accidental Getaway Driver is a Thunder Road / K Period Media production starring Hiệp Trần Nghĩa, Dustin Nguyen, Dali Benssalah (Primo in No Time To Die), Phi Vũ, and Gabrielle Chan.

During a routine pickup, an elderly Vietnamese cab driver is taken hostage at gunpoint by three recently escaped Orange County convicts. Based on a true story.

The Accidental Getaway Driver opens in select theatres in the US on February 28, 2025. Check the official website for all screening dates. A nationwide US release to follow from March 7.
