Actor Dolph Lundgren, who made his big screen debut in the 1985 James Bond film A View to a Kill directed by John Glen, recently visited Rome for a Masterclass during Filming Italy: Cinema meets Art. It was a great and interesting chat with the Swedish action star in the fantastic setting of the Ara Pacis Museum.

Filming Italy: Cinema meets Art celebrates the union between the cinema and artistic beauty of Rome. The event was held on 25-26 June 2024 and organized by Agnus Dei Association by Tiziana Rocca in association with la Directorate of State Museums of the City of Roma directed by Dr. Mariastella Margozzi and the director of Pantheon the architect, Gabriella Musto. It allows the characters of the small and large screen to interact with art and cultural, artistic and archaeological heritage.

During the event, separate Masterclasses were organized with Bo Derek, Harvey Keitel and Maria Grazia Cucinotta who portrayed the Cigar Girl in The World Is Not Enough (1999) starring Pierce Brosnan.

(Special thanks to From Sweden with Love reader Jeremie Damoiseau for the alert about this Masterclass. Damoiseau has worked with Dolph on numerous projects including a book about the making of 1989's The Punisher.)
