Venz in A VIEW TO A KILL 1985

Dolph Lundgren appears in this section for many reasons. Apart from both of us being Swedish, I also studied together with his nephew David at Chalmers University in Gothenburg during 1993 and 1994.

David told me that Dolph was tutor to Sir Roger Moore during the fighting sequences in A View to a Kill (1985), besides playing the role as Venz. For those who may not know, he was Grace Jones' (who played "May Day" in the film) boyfriend at the time the film was being made.

In June 2006, I interviewed Dolph for the website, read the entire interview here: Exclusive interview with Dolph Lundgren

In August 2011, Dolph's a biographical fitness book, Fit Forever, was published in Sweden. An updated and adapted English version was released in September 2014.

"Dolph is a very nice man and deserving of his success. Although I didn't have the opportunity to work with him again I certainly would have considered it." - John Glen, director of AVTAK
