In an unprecedented move, EON Productions has announced that assigned director Danny Boyle has left the pre-production of Bond 25 which marks the first time a previously announced director has left a James Bond film.

The official announcement from EON Productions, the production company behind the James Bond films, read:

"Michael G. Wilson, Barbara Broccoli and Daniel Craig today announced that due to creative differences Danny Boyle has decided to no longer direct Bond 25."
