On this day in James Bond history, Never Say Never Again (1983) , Sean Connery's seventh and last film as Ian Fleming's James Bond, premiered at cinemas 40 years ago. (NSNA premiered in USA on October 6, 1983.)
SPECTRE agents under the command of Ernst Stavro Blofeld infiltrate a US air force base situated in the UK and steal two Tomahawk cruise missiles.
When NATO is held to ransom, the British reactive their "00" agents and send James Bond to recapture the warheads and kill Blofeld.
