Our friend Nic Raine will be conducting the Budapest Symphony Orchestra at a special James Bond concert - JAMES BOND 60 - in Budapest on Friday July 19th, 2013. The orchestra and audience will be on an island in the middle of the river Danube and there will also be a video projection and two soloists: Mónika Veres and Bálint Gájer (both participants of the Hungarian edition of The Voice).
Nic Raine has had particularly fruitful relationships with two of the most prolific film composers of recent times,
John Barry (1933-2011) and Carl Davis. John Barry's name is synonymous with the
James Bond films and Nic Raine became a regular collaborator since their first meeting in 1984 when his work on
A View to a Kill (1985) and
The Living Daylights (1987) enhanced Nic's growing reputation within the film industry.
