I was fortunate to get vacation from work in order to spend some lovely days in Canada during 18th to 26th February 2006.
Initially I stayed in Trois-Rivieres visiting an old friend from my studies in London, Michel Auger. Then I spent 3 days in Montreal visiting Jean Goyette, a fellow Bond fan, and his girlfriend Suzie. After that, all of us travelled to Quebec City for the Vue sur Bond event organised by The 3 Americas Film Festival in beneficial purpose for UNICEF.
The driving force behind all of this was Harry Saltzman’s daughter, the lovely Hilary Saltzman.
We were joined by "the Carters", Duncan and his son Adam, who flew in from England especially for this event.
All of us had a wonderful time and we got so many good memories like having a 5-course dinner with no other than the great personality, Sir Roger Moore.
On a personal level I will always remember being in the centre for interviews during the opening press conference as I was asked to do interviews for two TV-stations incl. Global TV, one radio interview and two pieces for Canadian newspapers (Journal de Québec and Le Soleil).
Exclusive interviews with the honorary James Bond guests:
