Many Norwegian men and women have a special love for the 1987 James Bond film The Living Daylights and to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of this modern classic, the film will yet again be screened at a cinema in Oslo (for the first time since it came out).
"In my eyes,
The Living Daylights is one of the best and most underrated films in the entire James Bond series. Additionally, one of the Bond films that really should be seen at a proper cinema in favour of sitting at home and watch it on TV."
The special screening, in collaboration with
JAMESBOND.no (Norway's oldest and most comprehensive fan site on agent 007), takes place at
Cinemateket in Oslo (Dronningens gate 16 in Filmens hus) on
Friday 3 November at 7pm, when the film is featured in one of Norway's best cinemas,
Tancred.
A ticket cost 50 NOK for Cinemateket members and 80 NOK for non-members. 185 seats are available with optional seating. You can also order tickets and get a copy of the special magazine
Ja, vi elsker JAMES BOND for 100 NOK extra (regular price: 200 NOK).
Note:
There will be a meeting for Bond fans after the screening at a restaurant nearby. A great way to get to know other fans that you may "only" have met through social media.
Book tickets for the screening of The Living Daylights via Cinemateket's website.
