Report from the opening of Bond In Motion in Bealieu, England

Veteran special effects supervisor Chris Corbould and Lord Montagu officially opened the new Bond in Motion: No Time To Die exhibition at Beaulieu, National Motor Museum on 15th October 2021. Together they unveiled a collection of vehicles, gadgets and costumes from No Time To Die, curated by EON Productions archivist Meg Simmonds.
Chris Corbould gave insights into the Matera chase scenes as revealed Bond’s machine gun-damaged DB5, complete with spinning mini-guns, scraped sides, mini mines and cracked windows. No Time To Die concept artist Tim Browning was on hand to see his ‘Stealthy Bird’ submersible glider go on display for the first time, suspended high above the collection.

Visitors to the exhibition can take a look at a range of film pieces including a chase-battered Land Rover Defender 110 and Bond’s Jamaica Land Rover Series III. Paloma’s appropriated Chevy Bel Air, the iconic Aston Martin V8, Nomi’s Aston Martin Superleggera DBS and Royal Alloy Scooter are also on show, alongside Bond’s tactical outfit and OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M watch, Primo’s Triumph Scrambler and Matera costume.
