James Bond film actors and behind the scenes crew

This section of FSWL is kind of personal as it features photos and stories from meeting and talking to the people who have contributed to the success of the James Bond 007 phenomenon. In most cases very friendly and down-to-earth people. Currently 260 names listed.

The list consist of actors, actresses, assistant directors, camera operators, cinematographers, composers, costume designers, directors, editors, executive producers, location managers, lyrics writers, marketing executives, music artists, production assistants, production controllers, production designers, production managers, production secretaries, publicists, script supervisors, screenwriters, special effects wizards, stunt coordinators and several stuntmen.

The section also includes meetings with official James Bond authors.

STEVEN SALTZMAN
Son of Harry Saltzman, producer of 9 James Bond films with Albert R. Broccoli between 1962 and 1974

The first time I met Steven Saltzman (Harry Saltzman's only son) was at the 40th Anniversary of Thunderball at Cine Lumiere in London on November 20th 2005.

When Steven realised I was from Sweden he showed me a picture of him, his wife and Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden (which he saw the day before in Monaco). A very nice surprise from him which made yours truly a proud Swede!

All in all, Steven is a really nice person!

About Steven Saltzman:
Steven Saltzman, brother of Hilary Saltzman, was born in 1960 and is the son of Jacqueline and Harry Saltzman. (Harry produced the first nine James Bond films with Albert R. Broccoli and in that perspective created the most successful film franshise in the world.)

In 1981, Steven graduated from University of South Florida with a degree in Business Administration and in 1983 he set up global radio syndicator Radio International. (From 1984 through the present, he has been Chairman of Rock Over London, a radio syndicator.)

During 1993 through 1997, Saltzman was the radio Consultant to Scandinavian Broadcasting (SBS).

From 1995 through 1998, he was a founder and board member of Delta Radio, an Amsterdam-based radio station.

During 1997 through 1998, Saltzman was a founder and Director of a German radio consortium, Mega Radio, and since October 1998, Saltzman has been a radio Consultant for the Finelco radio group, based in Milan and Monaco.

In April 2000, Steven was elected to the Board of Directors of TakeOutMusic.com.

Over the last ten years, Saltzman has served as a Consultant to various radio groups including Hachette/Europe Communications of France.

Editor's note:
Steven Saltzman was interviewed for five of the documentaries featured on the specially produced DVD's of the James Bond series released in 2000: "Inside Dr. No", "Harry Saltzman: Showman", "Inside The Spy Who Loved Me", "Ken Adam: Designing Bond", and "Silhouettes: The James Bond Titles".
