James Bond film actors and behind the scenes crew

This section of FSWL is kind of personal as it features photos and stories from meeting and talking to the people who have contributed to the success of the James Bond 007 phenomenon. In most cases very friendly and down-to-earth people. Currently 260 names listed.

The list consist of actors, actresses, assistant directors, camera operators, cinematographers, composers, costume designers, directors, editors, executive producers, location managers, lyrics writers, marketing executives, music artists, production assistants, production controllers, production designers, production managers, production secretaries, publicists, script supervisors, screenwriters, special effects wizards, stunt coordinators and several stuntmen.

The section also includes meetings with official James Bond authors.

BRITT EKLAND
Mary Goodnight in THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN 1974

I have met the lovely Britt Ekland several times over the years, including her lovely daughter Victoria Sellers who is a dear friend.

The first time at NEC in Birmingham 2005, many strange faces wondered most probably what we spoke about as we are Swedish.

I had a second, third and forth opportunity to see Britt in 2006. First at the Vue sur Bond weekend in Quebec, Canada in February.

Then at the Bond Girls Are Forever at Pinewood Studios in July and again at Kempton Park race course duing the Starcon weekend in September.

Even if The Man With The Golden Gun (1974) was made over 30 years ago , Britt is still a gorgeous looking woman!

For Swedish visitors it is worth knowing about the popularity of Swedish Bond women in England. Britt, Maud Adams and Mary Stavin have always been among the most popular Bond guests at British collector shows that I have attended. I guess that is because they are not English and considered very exotic (except being overwhelmingly beautiful of course). Not surprisingly, the organisers usually likes them as well.

In July 2008, I interview Britt exclusively for Roger Moore's website, read the interview with Britt Ekland here.

Visit Bondstars to purchase official Britt Ekland merchandise.
