Stuntman and actor who worked on 8 of the James Bond films between 1969 and 1999

Our good friend Mikael Ström met up with stuntman, stunt coordinator and actor Bill Weston at Collectormania in May 2008. He kindly provided us with the photo above. Mikael said he was a really nice person.

In our eyes, Bill is a unique and very special person as has worked with every one of the James Bond actors apart from George Lazenby.

Bill Weston's work on the James Bond film series include On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) (stunts), The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) (stunts), For Your Eyes Only (1981) (stunts), Octopussy (1983) (stunts), Never Say Never Again (1983) (stunts), A View to a Kill (1985) (stunts), The Living Daylights (1987) (Blayden Butler) starring Timothy Dalton, and The World Is Not Enough (1999) (stunts) starring Pierce Brosnan.

Other film credits include blockbusters such as The Eagle Has Landed (1976), A Bridge Too Far (1977) starring Sean Connery, Stars Wars (1977), Superman - The Movie (1978), Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), The Wild Geese II (1985) starring Roger Moore, Aliens (1986), Batman (1989), Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991), Titanic (1997), Saving Private Ryan (1998), Enduring Love (2004) starring Daniel Craig, Batman Begins (2005) and The Da Vinci Code (2006).
