Andrew Noakes started his career in the film industry working during the summer holidays for his father, who was the financial controller on Superman.
He worked his way through the ranks, from tea boy and filing clerk on
Octopussy in 1982. Andrew has since worked on 26 films including every James Bond film ever since.
On
Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) he took over the reigns from his father Douglas who had been EON’s financial controller since
For Your Eyes Only (1981).
In 2006, in recognition of the growing scale of his role within the James Bond franchise, Noakes was credited as the associate producer on
Casino Royale and
Quantum of Solace and co-producer on
Skyfall.
