Necros in THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS 1987
It has been a pleasure to meet the multi-talented Andreas Wisniewski, a very kind and polite man. The first time was over a weekend at Autographica in March 2007.
Wisniewski is quite tall and a well trained German actor, which he clearly he demonstrated in
The Living Daylights (1987). It was wonderful to meet him as he had not attended shows like this.
Andreas has appeared in other famous films apart from the Bond film, in total almost 20 films and several television series, and is still very active in the film business. I fondly remember him from the first
Die Hard (1988) film, opposite Hollywood star Bruce Willis, and
Mission Impossible (1996) with Tom Cruise.
These days, Andreas teaches a powerful, intense, yet light hearted yoga class. Originally trained as a dancer, he came to yoga as a means of rehabilitating an injury and immediately knew that he would be practicing for the rest of his life. He studied various styles of physical yoga with several famous yoga instructors. He entered a teacher's training course, only to deepen his own practice, but that turned into an avalanche and Andreas has taught yoga ever since. Andreas' approach is multi-faceted. Focus, flexibility, strength, stamina, alignment, attitude, balance, relaxation, breath control, mindfulness, empowerment, and meditation, all receive their due consideration.
For the last 15 years, Andreas has taught open and private classes, workshops and retreats on four continents. He currently resides in Berlin and teaches there and in London. His students range from celebrities of stage, screen and board room to children, and friends.
Thank you very much Andreas, a pleasure to meet you.
