Quantum of Solace - The Game is released on all game platforms - Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, PC, PS2, PS3 and Xbox 360 - on October 31, 2008. In other words, on the same day the films opens in UK cinemas.
This game is based on two James Bond films -
Casino Royale (2006) och
Quantum of Solace (2008).
Activision acquired the video game license rights to the James Bond franchise on May 3, 2006 (after Electronic Arts who had had them since Rare created the game - GOLDENEYE - for Nintendo) and they hold the rights until 2014. The license allows Activision develop and publish video games based on the entire EON back-catalog of James Bond movies including non-movie based games.
Daniel Craig does the voice and likeness for James Bond but David Houston has done some additional voice work for the same character. Ray Park is the man behind the motion capture for Bond. The voice of M is done by no other than the film version actress -
Dame Judi Dench.
The game takes place in England (London and surroundings), Italy (Venice, Lake Como and Siena), Montenegro, Austria, USA (Miami), Madagascar and Bolivia.
The official trailer for the game was released on July 15 2008, check it out by clicking the link below:
