On 2nd July 2018, British men's resort wear brand Orlebar Brown officially launched an exclusive collection of four swim shorts featuring iconic artwork from four different James Bond films - Dr. No (1962), Thunderball (1965), You Only Live Twice (1967) and Live and Let Die (1973).

Each pair of the signature Bulldog shorts comes complete with a unique 007 woven label and a limited edition waterproof swim bag to store wet shorts or poolside essentials.

The iconic beach scene from the first Bond film Dr. No is sure to inspire you to seek similar sunny adventures. You might spot the difference between the film and image: the blue shirt Sean Connery wore in the film was hand-tinted orange to create more eye-catching promotional lobby cards.

The illustration from the Thunderball film poster features Sean Connery as Bond fighting off a SPECTRE agent. These underwater action scenes contributed to the film winning an Oscar® for Best Visual Effects (awarded to the late John Stears), and make for a perfect pair of swim shorts for all 007 enthusiasts.

For the pair below, Orlebar Brown have used artwork depicting a stylised Bond coolly piloting an autogyro while being pursued by SPECTRE helicopters. In typical style, he appears cool, calm and collected — so much so that his hands aren’t even touching the steering.

The memorable chase sequence from Live And Let Die shows Bond (Roger Moore) using a Glastron GT150 speedboat to evade Dr. Kananga’s men, during which a world record was unintentionally set when the boat cleared 110 feet.
