Pierce Brosnan (James Bond in GoldenEye (1995), Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough and Die Another Day) plays the part of Perry Smith in Joel Hopkins' romantic comedy Love Punch. The film is released on DVD and Blu-ray worlwide on 21st August 2014.

Richard Jones (Pierce Brosnan) er middelaldrende og fraskilt, men ser frem mod en bekymringsfri tilværelse efter at hans firma er blevet solgt. Men da han ankommer til firmaet på sin sidste arbejdsdag opdager han, at der er svindlet med overtagelsen - så virksomheden er fallit, medarbejdernes pensionskasse er tom og hans egen fratrædelsessum er borte. Richard får hjælp af sin eks-kone Kate (Emma Thompson) til at opspore den lyssky forretningsmand der står bag svindelnummeret. De bliver hurtigt fanget i en katten-efter-musen leg igennem Europa, i en hvirvelvind af intriger, forfølgelse og og et smykketyveri der måske kan rette op på Richards fremtidsudsigter - alt imens kærligheden til Kate bliver genopblusset...
