Jon Burlingame (author of the excellent The Music of James Bond) has just alerted us on the 2014 Grammy nominations which included both Adele's title song for Skyfall (2012) and Thomas Newman's score. (The 2014 Grammy Awards will be held on January 26, 2014 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and the show will be broadcast on CBS.)

UPDATE: (27/1/2014) Both of SKYFALL's nominations at the 2014 Grammy Awards turned out to be victorious. Adele Adkins and Paul Epworth won for Best Song Written for Visual Media while Thomas Newman got one for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media. Neither Adele or Epworth were present but composer Newman was there to collect his Grammy, his 6th.
