James Bond's return at the cinemas in the 23rd film from EON Productions, Skyfall (2012) (Daniel Craig third as Ian Fleming's secret agent hero) has become a worldwide box-office phenomenon.

A selection of box-office facts for Skyfall:
• 1079 Million USD worldwide, and counting, bringing SKYFALL to the top of the 007 box-office table (both with and without adjusting for inflation) along with box-office smash hits like Goldfinger (1964), Thunderball (1965) and You Only Live Twice (1967).
• 302 Million USD in USA, and counting, over 100 Million USD more than the previous Bond record in the country with Quantum of Solace (2008).
• 162 Million USD at the UK box-office, and counting, making it the most successful film of all time in the country!
• 6.4 Million admissions in France, almost doubling the average number of 007 film admissions in the country!
• Over ONE Million admissions in Sweden, and counting, making it the first 007 film adventure since Octopussy (1983) (featuring three Swedish Bond girls: Maud Adams, Kristina Wayborn and Mary Stavin) to pass that magical limit in the country.
