SAM MENDES ON SPECTRE
The second video log from the set of SPECTRE, the 24th James Bond adventure, is online. (The first video log was published two weeks ago.)

Focusing on director Sam Mendes, the new behind the scenes footage features Daniel Craig as James Bond 007 as well as cast members Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, and Ben Whishaw.

Director Sam Mendes says, "The reasons I’m doing the second Bond movie are the reasons I would do any movie, really, which is all to do with the story. And in this movie, ‘Spectre,’ what you have is a movie entirely driven by Bond. He is on a mission from the very beginning.”

Additionally, “It’s about whether or not to pursue the life he’s always pursued, whether he matters and is he going to continue or not. And you’re going to have to come to see the movie to find out whether he does.”

"Judging from the clip below it looks as SPECTRE will be like me and many other Bond fans around the world has hoped and wished for: a classic Bond film where 007 and his work as an agent is in the centre in comparison to SKYFALL where M's fate was in focus. The fact that Mendes says that the story was the main thing that attracted him, along with the return of SPECTRE in the series, speaks for it." - Anders Frejdh
