Today, the From Sweden with Love team members received a personal message from Moneypenny's desk. It features some exciting news from the good people at Ian Fleming Publications in London. Classification: Gold level (For Your Eyes Only)
The message reads as follows...
“To our agents in the field,
It is imperative that you read the following closely. This information is classified and only shared with our most dependable allies.
We trust you are all familiar with the recent news from
Ian Fleming Publications. In brief, Ian Fleming Publications will be publishing new editions of all fourteen original James Bond adventures in April 2023. April 13th is ground zero, so set your Q Branch watches accordingly. There will also be new editions of the non-fiction titles
Thrilling Cities and
The Diamond Smugglers. It is required that all agents re-familiarise themselves with the books so prepare space on your bookshelves, in your secret compartments or in your attaché cases. Links to the new books can be found on
ianfleming.com and on all usual retailer websites.
The all-new covers, as approved by M, will be revealed in the early months of 2023. Everyone here feels very confident that the new covers speak to the heritage of Bond’s adventures but with a brand new 2023 look. When we say M ‘approved’, it was a mere affirmative nod of the head. High praise indeed.
Please be alert because in the new year we will be sending through the following mission updates:
• Announcement of our new US publishing partner
• Key dates for 2023
• New features and articles
• Teases of some upcoming projects
If you have not yet read the 2022 publications With a Mind to Kill and Double or Nothing, there may still be time to pick up a copy before Christmas but the clock is ticking. In fact, there are less than 007 days to go.
The red light has just come on above M’s door so that is all for now but please add the following to your tactical equipment. 2023 sees 70 years since the publication of
Casino Royale (1953), the book where it all began. Everyone here will be enjoying this anniversary throughout the year and we would like you to join us in the celebration. The 70th anniversary logo will be cleared for field use in the new year, so the below is a sneak peek we are granting only to our trusted allies.
Sincerely,
Miss Moneypenny”
