Ian Fleming Publications, 2024, update
In a PM from Miss Moneypenny's desk in London, Ian Fleming Publications announce a range of exciting literary news to look forward to in 2024 for all James Bond fans. Classification: Gold level (For Your Eyes Only)

The message reads as follows...

“To our agents in the field,

I’m writing today at the Chief of Staff’s insistence. Deception can come in many shapes and sizes. In the world of espionage it is our tool, but it can also be our enemy. It is essential that all our agents are aware of the new, approved and declassified covers for upcoming books. The below covers have received the ‘tick’ from M.

First up, a new edition of Charlie Higson’s bestselling On His Majesty’s Secret Service (2023) is out on June 6th. This paperback will have a bold new look, and will feature revised text plus exclusive bonus content.

Read an interview with the cover designer here.

June will also see a new paperback edition of Ian Fleming’s children’s classic Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, aimed at young readers. Landing on the 13th, meet the artist who’s bringing this new vision of Chitty to life, Thomas Gilbert. Who wouldn’t want a flying car? We’re speaking to Q about this.

Meet the artist for the new edition here.

Agents only have to wait until April 25th (or the 23rd for those in deep cover Stateside) to get their hands on the latest Double O novel from Kim Sherwood, A Spy Like Me, which sees three of MI6’s toughest agents race across the world to stop a series of deadly terrorist attacks (a typical Tuesday for us, no?).

Learn more and pre-order your copy here.

Finally, a reminder that the eBook-only omnibus of James Bond: The Raymond Benson Years, is out today, collecting together all six of Raymond Benson’s original James Bond novels for the first time.

Sincerely,

Miss Moneypenny

P.S. Did you spot this post last week? This is your second tease. The first was happenstance, the second coincidence...”
