Geoffrey Moore, son of James Bond legend Sir Roger Moore, is back in front of the cameras in the all-action spy movie Knightfall (2024) which is now in production across the UK from leading genre production company Shogun Films.

Film Bridge International have secured worldwide sales rights to the picture and are introducing it to buyers at the upcoming Cannes market.

Knightfall centres on a botched MI5 bio weapon raid which leaves science officer Ros Knight on the run from her own team – as well as a terrifying international hitman - and seeking refuge at the remote country home of her estranged father, legendary Spy-catcher Charles Knight. Geoffrey Moore plays dashing MI5 agent Hugh, Ros’s love interest and her only hope of survival.

Also starring is Jeanine Nerissa Sothcott (Renegades, Nemesis) as Ros and 80s heartthrob Michael Paré (Streets of Fire, The Philadelphia Experiment) as Matthew, a charming ex CIA agent as well as veteran British character actor Rupert Holliday Evans (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels).

Knightfall is directed by Ben Mole (Code of Silence) for Shogun Films in association with Empire Studios. Writers are Robert Dunn, James Smy and Bob Schultz. Darren Le Fevre is stunt co-ordinator.

Shogun’s Jonathan Sothcott said “We’re excited to bring this unique, action-packed spy thriller to market. Ben Mole is a very intelligent film-maker and the movie has a sophisticated flavour, a lot of production value and Geoffrey Moore has a huge charisma and screen presence and heads an exemplary cast. Audiences around the world will love Knightfall I’m sure: it has heart and guts and will be a real crowd pleaser.”

Geoffrey, who is a musician and restauranteur as well as an actor, starred opposite his father in the 1990 action caper Fire, Ice and Dynamite. Sir Roger’s long career included two huge TV series, The Saint and The Persuaders and a raft of cult feature films including The Wild Geese, North Sea Hijack and The Man Who Haunted Himself. He was the second longest running and perhaps best-loved James Bond, playing the character seven times (more than any other actor) between Live and Let Die (1973) and A View to a Kill (1985).
