Virginia was raised in Australia in an intensely scientific and artistic family; her father was a doctor of dentistry who was fascinated by science and physiology, her mother an artist/writer, her sister an art teacher and her brother a graphic artist. She not surprisingly inherited a passion for both physiology and art. Her path toward holistic therapies came as a natural progression of the times, and a real need to keep her skin and physiology healthy whilst modelling. This in turn led to a life long passion and study.
Virginia's life in the public eye has led her to teach her favourite all round health and beauty secret, "meditation," and to be able to offer a range exquisite luxury natural beautifying products that she has designed and developed herself.
Ms. Hey now has her own range of exquisite perfumed organic Soy wax Candles and White Chocolate Glycerine Soaps that have become a celebrity favourite! White Flower Lei was born July 2005. White Flower Lei products are designed and handmade by Virginia, who is also certified in natural therapy. WFL has some of the most beautiful women in the world as devotees such as Cameron Diaz and Tyra Banks.
As a Natural Therapist, Virginia has a fascination for the way the body, mind and spirit ticks. When the idea blossomed to produce a range of exquisite beautifying products that would be aroma-therapy for the mind, body and soul, Virginia got impassioned about the idea and WFL products were born.
Virginia has taught health, nutrition, beauty and confidence over the last 20 years in Australia. Since she has been residing in the USA she has been teaching meditation at her own 2-hour workshops. Virginia began the life long passion for meditation as a child. As an adult she has pursued the study of meditation and many modalities of natural healing.
In 1985 Virginia studied Visualisation Meditation for 3 years. In 1989 Massage and in 1992 Virginia began a triple diploma course in Naturopathy, Homeopathy and Herbal Medicine, she attended one year full time at The Australasian College of Natural Therapies and left to star in the movie "Signal One".
