Vic Armstrong will be signing his autobiography The World's Greatest Stuntman and give a Q&A at Forbidden Planet's London Megastore, 179 Shaftesbury Avenue between 6 and 7pm.
Many thanks to our friend (and co-author of Vic's book) Robert Sellers for the heads up on this event.
Featuring an introduction by Steven Spielberg, and over 900 previously unpublished on-set photos from Vic’s own collection, this hugely entertaining movie memoir features exclusive contributions from many of Vic’s colleagues and friends, including Harrison Ford, George Lucas, Martin Scorsese, Pierce Brosnan, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Angelina Jolie and Sir Christopher Lee.
A legend in the movie industry for 40 years, Vic Armstrong is in the Guinness Book of Records as the World’s Most Prolific Stuntman. He has been stunt double for Indiana Jones, James Bond and Superman, and he’s directed action scenes for three Bond movies, Mission Impossible 3, I Am Legend and The Green Hornet to name but a few. He’s currently second unit director on The Amazing Spider-Man.
Vic Armstrong is a British-born stuntman and director. A hero in the movie industry, he has won an Academy Award, and a BAFTA for Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema.
The book will be available to buy on the day, but you can order your signed copy here:
