After a long tradition of Aston Martin cars in the James Bond film series, and as revealed in March 2014, another supercar will premiere in SPECTRE.
The Aston Martin DB10 from
SPECTRE will go on display at
Salon Privé at
Blenheim Palace in September. The new sports car, developed specifically for the film and one of just ten examples to be built, will be on show exclusively at the 10th anniversary of Salon Privé
from Thursday 3 September to Saturday 5 September.
James Bond and Aston Martin:
Sean Connery drove the DB5 in
Goldfinger (1964) (1964) and
Thunderball (1965) (1965),
Pierce Brosnan drove it in
GoldenEye (1995) (1995) and
Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) while
Daniel Craig drove one in
Casino Royale (2006) and
Skyfall (2012).
George Lazenby drove an Aston Martin DBS in
On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969), the same model that Daniel Craig also drove in both
Casino Royale and
Quantum of Solace (2008).
Timothy Dalton drove a Vantage Volante (V8) in
The Living Daylights (1987) and in
Die Another Day (2002) (2002) Bond (Pierce Brosnan) drives a Vanquish (V12).
In
Ian Fleming's novel of
Goldfinger (1959), James Bond drove an
Aston Martin DB Mark III. (The decision to use the DB5 in the film version was made after a decision to use the company's latest car.)
