Mission for a Million Challenge Sweepstakes Rules:

NO PURCHASE OR MISSION COMPLETION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR MISSION COMPLETION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES AND DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. Employees (and their immediate families (parent, child, spouse or sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related) of the Sony Electronics, Inc. ("Sponsor"), PowerPact, LLC, and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to enter or win. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges and/or Sponsor, which are binding and final on matters relating to this sweepstakes. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.

TO ENTER: Between 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on September 29, 2008 and 11:59 p.m. ET on November 7, 2008 ("Entry Period"), visit http://www.sony.com/missionmillion and follow the directions provided to register and create an "agent" user ID and password. Registration is free. Limit one (1) registration per person and per email address. You will have the opportunity to complete up to seven (7) missions over the course of the Entry Period. Instructions on how to complete each mission will be provided on the website and are incorporated herein by reference. You will receive one (1) entry for each completed mission. Sponsor's decisions with respect to whether a mission is completed are final and binding. Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address per completed mission. Multiple registrations or entries received for any one mission will be void. You will also have the opportunity to receive additional entries by referring your friends. Refer as many friends as you would like. You will receive one (1) additional entry, for up to a maximum of seven (7) entries via this method, for each unique friend you refer who then registers to participate in the sweepstakes by clicking on the link provided in the referral email sent to him/her at the unique email address you submitted for such friend. The friends you refer must be eligible according to these Official Rules. You may not refer a friend more than once. If more than one individual refers the same person, whomever's referral email used by that person to register, as determined by Sponsor, will receive the entry. If an individual you refer does not register by following the directions provided in the referral email sent to him/her from you, you will not receive an entry for that person's registration. Online alternate entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on November 7, 2008. Limit a maximum fourteen (14) entries per person and per email address for the entire Entry Period, regardless of method of entry. Registration, mission completions, entries or referrals generated by script, macro or other automated or mechanical means or by other means which subvert the registration/entry process are void. Sponsor may, at its discretion, for whatever reason, offer fewer than seven (7) missions during the Entry Period. All registrations/entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

DRAWING: Potential winners will be selected in a random drawing held on or about 11/8/08 from all eligible entries received by an independent judging agency. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential winners will be notified by phone on 11/8/08. If Sponsor does not reach and speak with potential winner at time of initial phone call, or if he/she does not verbally accept the prize during notification phone call, he/she will be disqualified and, at Sponsor's discretion and time permitting, an alternate winner selected. No messages will be left on any answering machine or with any person other than the potential winner. Potential winners will each be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and, where lawful, a publicity release no later than 5:00 p.m. Central Time on Monday November, 10, 2008. If such documents are not returned within the specified time period, a prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or a potential winner is not in compliance with these rules, prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor's discretion, an alternate winner selected. If any winner is at least 18 but still considered a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize to his/her parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for fulfilling all requirements imposed on winners set forth herein. If any Grand Prize winner is a minor, such minor must accompany parent or legal guardian on trip as his/her guest.

PRIZES: Grand Prize (3): A four (4) day/three (3) night trip for two (2) to an exclusive entertainment event as determined by Sponsor . Trip consists of round trip coach-class air transportation for two (2) from a major U.S. gateway airport nearest winner's residence (as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion), three (3) nights' standard hotel accommodations (one room; double occupancy) (room rate and tax only), and ground transportation and $1,200 spending money, for winner only (to be awarded as American Express gift cards) (American Express gift cards are subject to separate terms and conditions) (Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") is $5,700 each). Actual value may vary depending on city of departure and dates of travel. Winner and guest must be available to travel anytime, as requested by Sponsor, from November 13, 2008 to November 23, 2008 and must travel together on the same itinerary and are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents. If winner resides within a 100-mile radius of the exclusive entertainment event, Sponsor reserves the right to provide ground transportation in lieu of air transportation and no compensation or substitution will be provided for difference in prize value. Travel arrangements must be made through Sponsor's agent, on a carrier of Sponsor's choice. Travel must be taken on dates specified by Sponsor or prize will be forfeited and Sponsor will have no further obligation to winner. Certain travel restrictions may apply. Winners are solely responsible for all expenses, costs or fees associated with acceptance and/or use of the prize not specified herein as being awarded including, without limitation, any and all federal, state and local taxes, additional ground transportation, luggage fees, additional meals, gratuities, and souvenirs. Winner's guest must be of legal age of majority in his/her state of residence (and at least 18). Guest must execute and return a liability/publicity release prior to issuance of travel documents. Mission Briefcase Challenge: While at the exclusive entertainment event, as determined by Sponsor, each Grand Prize winner, up to three (3), will have the opportunity to win $1,000,000 by determining the three-digit code that opens the mission briefcase assigned to him/her. Exact details for the Challenge are subject to change and will be provided to winners at time of prize award. Under no circumstances will more than one (1) $1,000,000 prize be awarded. If, for whatever reason, more than one Grand Prize winner guesses the correct code and opens his/her briefcase, a random drawing will be conducted from among those Grand Prize winners who open such case to award the $1,000,000. $1,000,000 prize, if awarded, will be awarded in the form of a 40-yr. annuity. Annuity is subject to terms and conditions specified by provider. Present value of annuity is $464,300. In the event no Grand Prize winner is determined to be the $1,000,000 winner, each Grand Prize winner will receive $10,000 in Sony merchandise (exact merchandise to be determined by Sponsor). GENERAL PRIZE CONDITIONS: Maximum Total ARV of all prizes: $501,400. Winners may not substitute, assign or transfer a prize or redeem prize for cash, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value. Prizes are awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. Winners are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes as well as any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided. All prize details are at Sponsor's sole discretion.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, misdirected, undelivered or garbled registrations, mission information or completions, referrals, entries or email; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the sweepstakes, the processing of registrations, mission completions, referrals or entries, the announcement of the prizes, the conducting of the Mission Brief Case Challenge or in any sweepstakes-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this sweepstakes or downloading materials from or use of the web site. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the sweepstakes or website or who are in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified and all associated entries will be void. Should any portion of the sweepstakes be, in Sponsor's sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the sweepstakes and, if terminated, at its discretion, select the potential winners from all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. Entrants, by participating, agree that Sponsor, PowerPact, LLC, and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, retailers, distributors, suppliers and advertising and promotion agencies and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, "Released Parties") will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including death, to persons, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize (including any travel or activity related hereto) or participation in this sweepstakes. Each winner, by acceptance of prize, except where legally prohibited, grants permission for Sponsor and its designees to use his/her name, address (city and state), photograph, voice and/or other likeness and prize information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without further compensation, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide in perpetuity, without notice or review or approval. In the event of a dispute regarding entries received from multiple users having the same e-mail account, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant and must comply with these rules. Authorized account subscriber is the natural person who is assigned the e-mail address by the Internet Service Provider (ISP), on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses.
