Shatterhand - the Tribute Movie for James Bond’s 50th anniversary on screen - is the second James Bond fan film from Constellation Studios in which 007 is played by Swiss model Serge Rotelli. The first film, Shamelady, premiered at Club James Bond France's 10th anniversary event in Paris on December 16, 2007. (FSWL was in attendance after being invited by club president Luc Le Clech.)

Note: Shatterhand aims only at entertaining Internet and convention audiences and is a non-profit production.

Background for the French fan film Shatterhand

The story of this new James Bond tribute — with a projected thirty-minute running time — was written by Eric Saussine in December 2006.

During the first half of 2007, he amended the script with strong input from Pierre Rodiac and Frederique Remy.

During the winter of 2007 the crew started shooting a ski chase and a fight sequence in the French Alps but this was not announced on any of the specialised web sites. The team was composed of Serge Rotelli (James Bond), Philippe Crave, Olivier Crave and even Eric Saussine who also has a small part. Constellation Studios is particularly grateful to Philippe and Olivier who jumped onboard at the last minute after the actors originally planned gave us an unexpected rain check.

Shatterhand was formally announced at the end of May 2007 while the team was getting ready for the summer main shoot organised by Pierre Rodiac and Philippe Crave. Pierre was hosting the crew and served as their location scout on the French Riviera while Philippe, a real life First Assistant Director, acted as Production Supervisor.

Official synopsis for the French fan film Shatterhand

James Bond’s former climbing instructor agent Hannes Oberhauser is dead. James Bond goes after his murderer, Major Dexter Smythe, an active MI6 agent and a traitor. Bond finds the Major who gives him some information on Blofeld. As a reward, 007 spare Dexter Smythe a shameful return to England by giving him the choice of an honourable death. As for Blofeld, Bond’s nemesis has presumably died in Japan in a mysterious Garden of Death cared for by its singular owner, Doctor Guntram Shatterhand...

James Bond flies to Japan to solve this conundrum.
