A rough world. A tougher police. Ola Rapace is Roland Hassel.
The series begins with Roland Hassel's father's voice and mentor, Yngve Ruda, brutally murdered on the open street. A broken Hassel then decides to conduct his own investigation under the radar and collects his closest colleagues in the police group "Triton" to find Ruda's killer and seize revenge on the killing. But Hassel's obsession around the case also affects his family - wife Daniela and daughter Vida. And soon they are in a downward spiral that takes them farther down to the abyss, in an effort to keep together as a real family. At the same time, the traces of Ruda's killer lead away from the street and point to the corridors of power in Stockholm and Brussels. For Hassel, the fight against crime has no limits.
