Roger Moore's 6th James Bond film broadcast on TV4 Film on Monday, October 4, 2011 at 9:00pm.

British action from 1983. James Bond barely manage to escape from Latin America and arrive back in England before being sent out on a new mission.

A Fabergé egg that a former agent managed to hand over to the English embassy, before he was killed, has proved to be false. The real egg will be sold on an exclusive auction at Christe’s in London. Bond manage to switch the eggs during the auction and locate the buyer, an Afghan prince who calls himself Kamal. The tracks lead Bond to India and a smuggler queen called Octopussy. But, the jewellery smuggling turns out to be a cover for a much worse plan to start another world war.

Actors: Roger Moore, Maud Adams, Louis Jourdan, Kristina Wayborn, Kabir Bedi, Steven Berkoff, Desmond Llewelyn, Robert Brown, Lois Maxwell, Mary Stavin

Directed by John Glen.
