New look for John Gardner's official site

We have received the following message from John Gardner's son Simon:

"Well we have been Tweeting and Facebooking about the 'New Look' for a while now and here it is. If you are an old or new visitor we hope that you find it easy to navigate, informative, and that is a site that you will want to come back to again and again. John Edmund Gardner might have passed on but his volume of work still has an army of fans for Boysie to Bond, Herbie to Suzie, and all in between.

This will be the official site for all things JG.

For anyone who has been following the postings on Twitter & Facebook, the initials AC have appeared quite a few times. This is Alex Canning who has taken my concept for the hew look and run with it. He has put up with my wayward art direction, and changes of whim. If you need a site building he is the man for it, contact him at http://www.sparetimedesign.co.uk

Also I would like to thank Lisa Moylett, my late Father's agent and friend to all things Gardner for her continued support and enthusiasm for this project; Thank you Lisa from the whole family.

We have built this site to grow, the world of publishing is changing, the e-book has arrived and with this site we aim to help bring the work of John Edmund Gardner to old fans and new fans alike in ways JG may never have thought possible. So here you are everyone, please leave feedback, ideas, links, this is your site, help us take it where you would like it to go and keep the spirit of JG alive!" - Simon Gardner - April 2010
