John Barry to receive BAFTA Fellowship Award

John Barry to receive prestigious honorary award from BAFTA during the gala held at the Odeon Theatre in Leicester Square, London.
On Saturday 12th February 2005, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) will present
John Barry with an honorary award at the ceremony in London.
The event will be hosted by Lord Richard Attenborough.
Awarded annually by the Academy, the Fellowship is the highest accolade bestowed upon an individual in recognition of an outstanding and exceptional contribution to film. Previously honoured Fellows include Ingmar Bergman, Charlie Chaplin, Alfred Hitchcock, Steven Spielberg,
Sean Connery, Elizabeth Taylor, Stanley Kubrick and
Judi Dench. Last year’s recipient was John Boorman.
