Gothenburg Wind Orchestra, Kristin Amparo and Anders Frejdh celebrates the James Bond film music

Gothenburg Wind Orchestra (GWO) returns for a celebration of the James Bond music at Haga Concert Hall on 5th March 2026. Like at their Bond tribute in 2024, the concert is headlined by acclaimed singer Kristin Amparo who has achieved success among both Swedish and international audiences through her expressive and powerful soul voice. From Sweden with Love founder and George Lazenby’s manager Anders Frejdh also returns to host the show. And Calle Rasmusson will reprise his conducting duties.
James Bond, also known as agent 007, has spellbound its audience for more than 70 years and is still as relevant as ever. The theme songs and music from the films have been praised worldwide and have had an important role for the success of the films. “We Have All The Time In The World” by

Paul & Linda McCartney, “For Your Eyes Only” by
Bill Conti and “Skyfall” by
Adele to name a few.
About Kristin Amparo
Kristin Amparo has been on Sweden's biggest scenes and toured worldwide. She shines with an undeniable voice in several genres and is described as
Ella Fitzgerald and
Amy Winehouse in one person. She has topped hit lists in Sweden and internationally with “Dance Our Tears Away” and “Din soldat” and in 2009, Kristin was awarded with the
Alice Babs scholarship.
Kristin is one of the founders of the FATTA movement who, together with Make Equal, got through the consent. Today she works with Rädda Barnen and BRIS.
About Anders Frejdh
Anders Frejdh is the Founder and Managing Editor of Sweden's largest James Bond site since 2004, which is now also one of the oldest and most comprehensive sites in the world -
From Sweden with Love. Since 2013, Anders has been the manager for, among others,
George Lazenby, who played James Bond in
On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969).
He has been called upon by distributors Sony Pictures and SF Studios in Sweden to represent the James Bond franchise in Scandinavia and worldwide, providing expert commentary on 007 related matters. He has also contributed to a variety of books and international publications on the subject. He also acts as a consultant to the US registered charity
The Ian Fleming Foundation who works to preserve Ian Fleming’s legacy.
In April and May 2008, Anders worked as an extra during the filming of
Quantum of Solace (2008), including a scene with
Daniel Craig. He has also interviewed Craig on two occasions in London, as well as Bond actors
Roger Moore and Lazenby.
In June 2013, TV4 named Anders as Sweden’s leading James Bond expert.
About Calle Rasmusson
The concert's conductor
Calle Rasmusson is originally a drummer but today active mainly as a composer, organizer and conductor. He describes himself as a musical architect where artistry and crafts go hand in hand.
Calle has collaborated with both national and international orchestras and artists such as The Metropole Orchestra, Bohuslän Big Band, Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Tommy Körberg, Rigmor Gustafsson, Ale Möller, Chaka Khan, Gregory Porter, Lalah Hathaway, Gretchen Parlato, and Cory Henry among others.
