Goldfinger starring Sean Connery is back at cinemas in Sweden

The iconic James Bond film Goldfinger from 1964 starring Sean Connery as Ian Fleming's agent 007 is back at cinemas in Sweden courtesy of Filmstaden to honour Sean's work after the sad news of his passing on 31 October 2020. The film opens on 16th November.
To pay tribute to Sean Connery's efforts as agent 007, Filmstaden is screening the classic Goldfinger in cinemas again this week, 15-19 November 2020.
Goldfinger is clearly a mythical and gold-edged Bond film that set the standard for the Bond films that followed.
Facts about the film Goldfinger
• Goldfinger paved the way for Sean Connery's lifelong passion for golf after the golf scenes filmed at Stoke Park.
• It always took hours to paint Shirley Eaton in the golden colour for her only scene that lasted 5 minutes and doctors had to be present because a covered body of paint can pose a great risk.
• The title villain Goldfinger is played by the German actor Gert Fröbe who spoke very little English. His character was therefor dubbed by Michael Collins.
• The film is mostly shot at Pinewood Studios outside London but also in Miami, Kentucky and Switzerland.
Plot
Agent 007 is face to face with one of history's worst villains. Now he must outwit and disarm this pamphlet in the underworld, to prevent a malicious and cunning plan to infiltrate Fort Knox with the aim of destroying the world economy.
