OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE:

GILLETTE CELEBRATES “BOND MOMENTS” IN EVERY MAN’S LIFE

Gillette brings out the 007 in every man by launching a campaign using the words of Ian Fleming.

As the world prepares for the release of SPECTRE, the 24th Bond film, Gillette celebrates the moments in every man’s life where he feels in control and confident. But these “Bond moments” don’t just happen - they come with precise preparation.

Starting on October 1, Gillette introduced their campaign “Bond Moments” inspired by the creator and author of James Bond, Ian Fleming. Fleming’s powerful and poetic words form the foundation of the campaign. His quotes describing the ultimate “Bond Moments”, such as ‘You Only Live Twice; Once when you are born and once when you look death in the face,’ are present throughout the campaign across TV, print, online and in-store.

“Just like Bond, men look and feel their best when they are properly prepared for any situation that comes their way,” said John Mang, Vice President, Global Gillette. “By partnering with SPECTRE, Jany Temime and The Fleming Estate, Gillette is showcasing the precise tools, skills and preparation that men need to be ready for their everyday ‘Bond Moments’.”

Gillette and SPECTRE presents: Bond Moments:

About SPECTRE:
A cryptic message from the past sends James Bond on a rogue mission to Mexico City and eventually Rome, where he meets Lucia Sciarra (Monica Bellucci), the beautiful and forbidden widow of an infamous criminal. Bond infiltrates a secret meeting and uncovers the existence of the sinister organisation known as SPECTRE.

Meanwhile back in London, Max Denbigh (Andrew Scott), the new head of the Centre for National Security, questions Bond's actions and challenges the relevance of MI6, led by M (Ralph Fiennes). Bond covertly enlists Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) and Q (Ben Whishaw) to help him seek out Madeleine Swann (Léa Seydoux), the daughter of his old nemesis Mr White (Jesper Christensen), who may hold the clue to untangling the web of SPECTRE. As the daughter of an assassin, she understands Bond in a way most others cannot.

As Bond ventures towards the heart of SPECTRE, he learns of a chilling connection between himself and the enemy he seeks, played by Christoph Waltz.

Sam Mendes directs for the second time. The film is produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli of EON Productions with a screenplay written by John Logan and Neal Purvis & Robert Wade.
