David will be appearing at the Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention on Sunday, August 21, 2011 to meet fans and sign autographs from 10:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M. While there is a charge for each autograph it includes a choice of photo. There's just a $10.00 charge for a posed photo with David. The final Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea: Season 4 Volume 2 DVD was recently released, so come by and tell David how you liked it.

David Hedison is known for his starring role as Captain Lee Crane on ABC-TV's Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, the Classic Horror Movie The Fly, Irwin Allen's The Lost World, and starring as "Felix Leiter" in two James Bond movies, Live and Let Die (1973) and Licence to Kill (1989). David guest starred in many classic Television series of the 1960's-80's.

David Hedison's first Television series was the espionage thriller Five Fingers which co-starred Luciana Paluzzi, and several years later Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea followed. David is the first actor to star as the CIA's Felix Leiter in two James Bond 007 Movies, Live and Let Die (1973) (with Roger Moore) and Licence to Kill (1989) (with Timothy Dalton). David guest starred in such television series as The Saint, Fantasy Island, The A-Team, Knight Rider, T.J. Hooker, and many others. David also starred in several made for television movies, such as the Horror Movie The Cat Creature with screenplay by Robert Bloch.

The Fly at Fifty is a 204 page book that chronicles the making of the 1958 Classic Horror/Science Fiction Movie The Fly starring David as scientist Andre Delambre and Vincent Price as Francois Delambre. The Fly at Fifty features a foreword by David Hedison, a chapter on David's career, and over fifty photos including rare, never before seen shots from the private archive of make-up designer Ben Nye.

The Fly at Fifty will be available for purchase at David's table for $35.00 which includes an autograph by David and the book's author, Diane Kachmar.
