Official press release: Caterpillar Inc. to be featured in Skyfall (2012), the latest James Bond film.

Caterpillar is pleased to announce its involvement with the world's favorite secret agent and longest running film franchise in history - James Bond 007. SKYFALL is produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, directed by Academy Award® winner Sam Mendes and stars Daniel Craig, who returns for his third film as James Bond. Details of the Cat equipment being used in the movie SKYFALL will be revealed closer to the film's release.

Caterpillar brands have been featured in more than 20 movies dating as far back 1927, including the 1999 Bond film, The World Is Not Enough.

SKYFALL began production earlier this month; look out for Caterpillar when the film begins its worldwide rollout in the U.K. and Ireland on October 26, 2012 and in North America on November 9, 2012.
