Casino Royale (2006) will be screened for the first time with the score performed live by a full symphony orchestra as part of Royal Albert Hall's ever popular Films in Concert series.
Tickets for the two screening on Saturday 30 September, 2:30pm and 7:30pm, and the one on Sunday 1 October are priced between 35 and 80 GBP and now on sale at www.royalalberthall.com.The running time is approximately 145 minutes, plus one interval (25 minutes).
As mentioned above, this will be the first time an entire Bond score has ever officially been performed live, as the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra conducted by Gavin Greenaway play David Arnold’s powerful score in sync with the film on the big screen. David Arnold, who has scored five Bond films, will discuss his collaboration with the 007 franchise in a pre-concert question and answer session.
Casino Royale, directed by Martin Campbell, is the 21st Bond film in Eon Productions' beloved film series and the first starring Daniel Craig. The film features an international cast that included French-Swedish actress Eva Green, Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen, American actor Jeffrey Wright and highly acclaimed British actress Judi Dench.
FSWL founder Anders Frejdh wrote this about Daniel as agent 007 in his review of Casino Royale in 2006:
"Craig is a terrific choice to play Bond and his incredible talent as an actor gives the performance an added dimension. He is tough and vulnerable and yet unstoppable."
