British Weekend hosted by Club James Bond France

The city of Le Touquet has asked Club James Bond France to set up the opening of the British Week with special guests, actress Maryam d’Abo and director John Glen.

The club's godmother and the director of 5 James Bond films will share their memories from the set of The Living Daylights during this long bondian week-end. The club will also have its yearly General Assembly.

007 fans and club members will join forces at the mythic coastal city, beloved by Ian Fleming and forever associated with 007. Le Touquet has set up an exceptional program for the occasion and the club will publish the following during the weekend:

• New special The Living Daylights (1987) themed Le Bond 25, also featuring the links between our favorite spy and Le Touquet.
• Introducing our new deluxe yearly publication Archives 007 (the Roger Moore years).

Saturday 8 October, 2011
10.00 - Opening with « British Week pack » given to visitors (badges, magazines...)
10.30 - Le Touquet bicycle British Tour
11.15 - Welcoming cocktail for the festival's opening at the Palais des Congrès
11.30 - Conference by Jacques Layani, author of "You Only Read Twice"
12.30 - Lunch 14.00 - The Living Dayights screening
16.15 - Panel with Maryam D’Abo and John Glen
17.00 - Reception at Le Touquet city hall
19.00 - Entertainment at Casino Barrière
21.00 - Dinner at Westminster Hotel

Sunday 9 October, 2011
10.07 - Club James Bond France's general assembly (members only)
11.00 - Signing session with our guests / club's shop
13.00 - Picnic on the racetrack
16.00 - Event's closing ceremony
