FSWL contributor and stunt expert Jon Auty comments after seeing the film:
"Without doubt one of the very best disaster movies I've ever seen. Intense from start to finish and a serious adrenaline rush. DO NOT see this film on dvd. Only see it at the cinema."
Jon also notes that one of the Stunt coordinators on San Andreas was Paul Jennings who appears in pre-title sequence of the 1999 Bond film The World Is Not Enough, in the Bilbao office shootout scene.
