Micke och Veronica med Izabella Scorupco

Micke & Veronica (with the working title 'Sista chansen'), a relationship comedy in archipelago environment starring Izabella Scorupco (Natalya Simonova in GoldenEye (1995) 1995) and David Hellenius, premieres at Swedish cinemas on Christmas Day 2014.

Veronika (Izabella Scorupco) falls head over heels with Mike (David Hellenius), the carpenter who re-builds the kitchen in her large and exclusive Stockholm flat. The sawdust has barely subsided before the first hot kiss. For their teenage children, Fanny and Alexander, the relationship becomes harder to accept. Veronika assumes that a summer with all of them on the West Coast at her wealthy parents place should do the trick.

But Mike does not feel comfortable in the 'posh' world and when his own dysfunctional family and a sexually liberated neighbour also join the game, their relationship is put at risk. In the fair Bohuslän archipelago, three generations meet to sort out their tangled relationships in a stellar relationship comedy.

Sista chansen was filmed in Bohuslän and Stockholm during the summer of 2013 and is Izabella Scorupcos first comedy. Her latest film, Änglavakt (Among Us), premiered in 2010.
