The great Matt Damon returns to his most iconic role in James Bond inspired Jason Bourne. Paul Greengrass, the director of The Bourne Supremacy (2004) and The Bourne Ultimatum (2007), once again joins Damon for the next chapter of Universal Pictures’ Bourne franchise, which finds the CIA’s most lethal former operative drawn out of the shadows. Jason Bourne premieres at cinemas in the UK and Sweden on 27th July 2016.
Jason Bourne has had to learn to live with the awareness of having been a tool for performing operations that authorities need, but do not want to acknowledge. While the world is changing at a pace that seems to run away from those in power, who can only watch as a new reality settles as a grid on top of the old. Remembering everything is not the same as knowing anything.
(Jason Bourne is based on Robert Ludlum's novel figure.)
Trivia:
The stunt team was headed by Gary Powell (also stunt coordinator for The Bourne Ultimatum, plus, the last four James Bond films) including James Bond related stunt performers such as Andy Lister, Calvin Warrington-Heasman, Martin Ivanov and Rick English. (Both Andy & Rick have doubled for Daniel Craig as James Bond.)
