James Bond is fighting against a power-hungry shipowner - Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 10:15pm on Swedish TV4 and TV4 HD.
James Bond is back in the action movie The Spy Who Loved Me from 1977. It is the tenth film about the womanizing agent. The British intelligence service MI6 forced to cooperate with the Russian KGB, when two nuclear submarines being stolen.
A British nuclear submarine disappears without a trace and Bond (Roger Moore) is assigned to find out what has happened. Meanwhile, a Russian submarine disappears and KGB sends out their top female agent Anya Amasova (Barbara Bach) to investigate.
Both sides believe that it is the other one that is behind the thefts but soon it becomes clear that none of them has anything to do with what has happened. The tracks leads them to the wealthy shipping magnate Karl Stromberg (Curd Jürgens) who has a marine research laboratory outside of Sardinia. MI6 and the KGB decide to cooperate and Bond and Amasova discover that Stromberg's plan is far more sinister than they ever imagined.
In the film, Bond also meet with the steel-teethed villain Jaws (Richard Kiel) for the first time.
